About Me

My goal is to connect with my students to create “Aha!” moments of understanding.

I have worked as a tutor for more than eight years while dedicating myself to the study of both education and developmental psychology. I have extensive experience working with children and young adults in both classroom and clinical settings.

My own K-12 educational path was an alternative one. I was a member of a progressive homeschooling group as a child, moved to a small independent elementary and middle school, briefly attended public high school, then transitioned to the early college program at SUNY Ulster.

In May of 2024, I graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with majors in both Psychology and Religious Studies, and minors in both Education and English. I am now an incoming student for the MSc of Education (International & Comparative) at the University of Oxford (fall 2026).

My educational and professional background gives me a unique and strengths-based perspective that allows me to work with each of my students as individuals, guiding them toward the educational techniques that meld best with their learning styles.
